What To Expect

Visiting a new church can be intimidating. What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go? We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit.

Below are some frequently asked questions:

What's a service like?
Our services usually last about 90 minutes. We begin with 30 minutes of Spirit-filled worship, followed by an hour-long message. While we typically follow a sermon series, we're also open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, which might sometimes extend our worship time or include a prophetic word.
What are the sermons like?
We preach Jesus, which means we teach directly from the Bible because the Bible is all about Him. Our messages often involve a series on relevant topics or a verse-by-verse study of a book of the Bible. Each message typically lasts between 45-60 minutes. If you'd like to hear a sample of our preaching, all of our messages are available for you to enjoy here on our website!
What is worship like?
At Hope Church, we strive to follow the Spirit as we lead worship. We pray over the songs we choose throughout the week and may engage in spontaneous worship as we feel led. We have an incredible community of musicians and singers who give their best every weekend, with our focus always on encountering God, never on the band.
Where do my kids go?
At Hope Church, our children's ministry is much more than just "childcare." We intentionally design it to help kids learn the Bible and understand how it relates to Jesus in an age-appropriate way. The lessons are fun, approachable, and taught by dedicated volunteers and staff who are passionate about serving Jesus by serving you and your kids.
Our children's ministry is divided into the following age groups:

Nursery/Preschool: 0 - 5 years
Hope Kids Church: 6 - 12 years

When you arrive, our kids' check-in is located just past the lobby, where one of our kids' ministry staff will assist you with the check-in process. During the worship experience, children in Kids Church will stay with you and will be dismissed for their own program before the message begins.
What do I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable, so wear whatever makes you feel at ease. We're just thrilled you're joining us and want you to focus on the service rather than what you're wearing. In the summertime, you'll see people in sandals, shorts, and shirts, while others might prefer to wear their "Sunday best." No matter how you dress, we think you'll fit right in!
Where do I park?
We have plenty of parking for you! Making first-time guests feel welcome is very important to us, so we’ve reserved special parking spaces just for you right by the front door. Our guest services team will be there to give you a friendly welcome and assist you in any way they can.
